New Website Optimizer Tool from Google

Google AdWords has recently released a new tool for advertisers using Google Adwords to enable them to easily test conversions on varying landing pages, headlines and ad copies. The tool shows advertisers to determine which of their designs gains the most conversions from site visitors.
Website publishers will be provided code to include in their landing page, tagging layout elements and content for tracking by the Optimizer. The website optimizer will then allow publishers to create multiple versions of their landing page that are served up randomly to visitors who enter the their site via AdWords campaigns. As visitors interact with the different versions of the page, the site publishers are provided with detailed reports on visitor activity organized by version and page section. They will be able to see which sections are most important relative to others, which versions of the page see the highest increase in conversions and make changes to layout accordingly.
Any advertiser who uses Google Adwords to increase the conversions on their website will find Website Optimizer useful.  It is a self-service tool that enables non-technical users to set-up and run multivariate landing page experiments.  Website Optimizer uses Google Analytics technology for tracking and reporting which landing page variation had the highest conversions.
